Explore the dichotomy of private vs. public experiences within urban spaces.

The Challenge

Explore solutions that could solve the key problems through the research with people in the public beach and those that manage/maintain the public beach.

The Outcome

Improve the paddle tennis court experience into a time efficient and delightful involvement for Venice beach visitors.

Next Steps

  • Talk to more paddle tennis players (non frequent and frequent)

  • Experiment playing on different / specific courts

  • Understand inside rules and score keeping methods

  • Understand how long is too long of a wait for players to get a court

  • Conduct further research to find out what an appropriate time limit should be through concierge testing
